Sarah Gifford is the Civic Engagement Lead at Queen Mary University of London. Sarah works to embed the Queen Mary Civic University Agreement with colleagues and teams across the university and with strategic civic partners across East London. Previously, Sarah was the Community Engagement Manager based in the Centre for Public Engagement at Queen Mary, and led the East London listening campaign which informed the civic priorities in QM’s Civic Agreement. Sarah has been working at Queen Mary and in community engagement in East London for over 15 years.
