Partnerships

Working in equitable partnership with anchor institutions, sectors and organisations across the seven East London boroughs is integral for Queen Mary to achieve maximum impact in realising our civic commitments.

Queen Mary strongly believe that by being open, inclusive, equitable and collaborative in our approach, along with exchanging knowledge and experiences with communities and organisations across East London, this will create an environment allowing impactful relationships and collaborations to develop.

We work with East London partner organisations across research, education, engagement and through our professional services in various ways.
Our collaborators and stakeholders include resident associations, voluntary organisations, faith groups, businesses, local authorities, enterprises, elected leaders as well as sectors including health, education and culture.
These relationships are held with teams and individuals across the university, working on key projects and initiatives together.

We are also a partner organisation on national civic initiatives, the Civic University Network and the National Civic Impact Accelerator.
