The BIG Green Canal Clean – Join Us in Making a Difference!
As part of Climate Action Week 2025, we’re inviting staff to step away from their desks and get hands-on in a rewarding community effort. Join colleagues for an afternoon of fresh air and teamwork as we clean up our local canal, helping to restore its natural beauty and protect wildlife.
What to Expect:
- Litter pick & vegetation management – Let’s tackle waste and give the canal a much-needed refresh.
- Free hot drinks & snacks – A little treat for your efforts!
- Great company & conversation – Connect with colleagues while making a positive impact.
Getting involved:
- What to bring? Just wear comfortable clothes – we’ll provide gloves, high-vis jackets, and all the necessary equipment.
- Where to meet? Join us at the Students' Union Hub at 11:50 AM, or find us by the canal near the Residential Life building (look for the high-vis jackets!).
