What does sustainability mean to you?

Sustainability means thinking of the needs of everyone across the world, considering not only environmental protection, but also addressing areas not usually thought of in relation to sustainability, including social justice, economic prosperity, and overall well-being.

What does sustainability mean to you? 

I see sustainability as the practice of harnessing the power of community to inspire individuals and shape policies that foster behaviours benefiting the present, the future, and generations to come.

What does sustainability mean to you? 

It means a liveable and habitable planet for the current and future generation.

Sustainability to me means being responsible, respectful and understanding of my surrounding and how I use the resources around me.

Sustainability means creating a better future for all!

For me, sustainability means going about my life in a way that exerts the least negative impact on the environment and society as possible, and giving all future humans the best chance to live healthy lives in a healthy environment.

Sustainability means creating a better future for all by educating, changing behaviours, and finding fairer and more innovative ways to meet our needs.

Sustainability means putting aside differences, realising everything is interconnected and that collaborative working is the best way forward to secure out future living on this planet.

Sustainability means ensuring we do not harm ourselves, our planet and the future generations from unmitigated exploitation of earth’s resources and harmful actions; it's a way of life and ensuring global sustainability can be a breeze if everyone plays their part.

I particularly focus on embedding sustainability and ethics in traditionally under-represented areas (such as mathematical and technical problems) and also work on promoting equity in ESD through inclusive and culturally responsive pedagogical methods such as community-based learning

To me sustainability means living in harmony with nature while nurturing our uniquely human qualities like creativity and critical thinking to ensure we regenerate rather than deplete the systems that sustain future generations.

To me, sustainability means preservation, continuity and prosperity.
