Project Title: Psychogeography in post-2010 Chinese Cinematic Cities.
Supervisors: Dr Kiki Tianqi Yu and Dr Janet Harboard.
My research engages with psychogeography in post-millennial Chinese cinematic cities. It aims to illuminate the sensory side of the city and the interdependent psychogeographic relationship between urban place and their inhabitants. I will target cites that haven’t been extensively discussed by western scholars such as Shenzhen, Wuhan, and Chuanyu area. I did my MA for Research at The University of Warwick, and my BA at HUST, National Taiwan University, and UC Berkeley.
