Profile

HPC registered Specialist Biomedical Scientist with over five years’ laboratory experience with a proven ability to research and effectively write clear and concise reports. I have a strong interest in laboratory techniques, quality improvement, and patient safety. I am keen to contribute to providing clinical input for how to better use transfusion data for clinical research. My current research is focused on evaluating the benefits of implementing bedside electronic transfusion check (BETC) in four hospitals at Barts Health NHS Trust. The output of this project will provide much needed insight into the clinical benefits of introducing bedside electronic transfusion checks to improve the safety and efficiency of the transfusion process.
