Profile
Jessica is a physiotherapist specialising in musculoskeletal and orthopaedic injuries. She has worked with patients in east London for the last 10 years as a physiotherapist. Jessica also has extensive experience working in clinical research trials – recruiting patients, coordinating the set up and management of studies.
Jessica is currently undertaking a Doctoral Fellowship funded by the HARP programme (Health Advances in Underrepresented Populations and Diseases) looking at ‘Enhancing Equity: a co-designed culturally tailored physiotherapy intervention’. This project will explore how we can best work together with underserved groups to identify barriers and challenges to accessing physiotherapy and develop solutions.
Jessica is very interested in how research can be applied in health services to help services be more equitable and serve those that need them the most.
