With over a decade of experience in the field of clinical research, Paul has recently joined the Bone and Joint Health Team as a Musculoskeletal Study Coordinator. In his new role, he’ll be managing the exciting new NELOA study which will be looking at Osteoarthritis progression within the diverse population of the Northeast London area. This study is designed to allow new arms to be added so that patients can be involved with novel research as current treatment needs change.
Paul has a history of project delivery with a key focus on high quality data collection, protocol adherence, and ensuring patient safety and wellbeing is at the forefront of research. By ensuring ethical practices were consistently being followed, he has helped steer numerous projects from start-up through to a successful finish.
Having previously worked on numerous research projects within the NHS, academic settings and the pharmaceutical industry, he brings a broad range of knowledge, experience and new ideas with him. He has strong background in monitoring complex clinical trials at hospitals across the UK and maintains a strong desire to improve patient health and quality of life. He enjoys working with healthcare professionals and researchers, fostering positive relationships that allow research to be conducted in a collaborative and rewarding manner.
Outside of work, Paul can usually be found pottering around his garden, cooking up a storm, or with his nose deeply buried in a book.
