Sophie recently joined the Barts Bone and Joint Team as a Clinical Trial Manager for the TiLLI Study. Prior to this appointment Sophie was working as a Clinical Trials Assistant at the Pragmatic Clinical Trials Unit. She brings to this role experience of working on several complex, large scale clinical trials of investigational medicinal products.
Sophie’s background lies in Clinical Medicine. She trained as a Doctor in New Zealand and has always been passionate about improving health outcomes through research. After relocating to London she decided to pursue her interest in research through clinical trials. She brings her drive and commitment to improving patient experiences from the hospital to the research setting.
In her free time Sophie enjoys running and exploring her new city (which if the weather permits can often be combined).
