Contact usOur vision is to deliver step-changes in scientific understanding, diagnosis and treatment of tuberculosis (TB) infection and disease in East London, the UK and internationally.
We will achieve this by:
- conducting scientific research to generate new knowledge on tuberculosis pathogenesis, and to develop new biomarkers and treatments for tuberculosis infection and disease
- implementing health service innovations to enhance the quality of care offered to patients with tuberculosis infection and disease in east London
- establishing a national group of people with lived experience of tuberculosis to provide peer support for people during their treatment and recovery from tuberculosis; to advise tuberculosis researchers on studies in development; and to raise public awareness of tuberculosis and advocate for improved services.
