Introducing Queen Mary Business School

The new name reflects the ambitions of a school that has grown significantly in recent years, and marks the next step in a journey that includes our accreditation with the Association to Advance Collegiate School of Business (AACSB) and the Small Business Charter, as well as our work towards gaining other accreditation that will reflect the quality of our teaching and research. It also lays the groundwork for a milestone still to come in May 2027, when the school will move into a new seven-storey, 6,700-square-metre home on the canal at Mile End, purpose-built to bring our staff, students and research together under one roof.

Our focus is on developing judgement, not certainty. We prepare our students to navigate complexity, act with confidence in uncertain environments and make the decisions that matter. Guided by our reformer heritage, we believe great ideas can come from anywhere and that through rigorous thinking and open debate, better outcomes emerge.
