Biography:
Federica is a Senior Lecturer at Queen Mary Business School, a Research Fellow at the Quantitative and Analytical Political Economy Research Centre (QAPEC), University of Warwick, and a member of the Women in Political Economics Network.
Before joining Queen Mary, Federica was a Lecturer in the Department of Economics at the University of Bath, and prior to that, a Senior Postdoctoral Researcher at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH Zurich).
Federica holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Warwick.

Research
Research Interests:
Federica's research lies at the intersection of public economics and political economy, with a particular focus on how digital platforms and social media shape political behaviour and government accountability — including the taxation of online advertising markets and the use of social media in political campaigns. Her work also spans taxation and firm behaviour, subjective wellbeing and political attitudes, and transport and urban economics.
