QIdea is an exciting new startup competition at Queen Mary designed specifically for early-stage entrepreneurs. Take this opportunity to win expert business coaching, every team that enters will receive a tailored recommendation for their next steps and Queen Mary support – meaning everyone who takes part has a roadmap to succeed.

Important Dates
Wednesday 1 October 2025 - Launch Event.
Sunday 19 October 2025 (midnight) - Applications close.
Wednesday 27 October 2025 - Prizes announced.
Judging
A panel of external and internal judges, including experienced founders, alumni entrepreneurs and enterprise educators, will review and score applications independently. They are committed to the terms of judging, including non-disclosure.
Prizes
- Up to 8 applicants will be selected to receive professional business coaching from a startup expert
- Certificates of excellence awarded to applicants in selected categories (eg social impact)
- Tailored roadmap of support and suggestions, incl. Queen Mary funding programmes where relevant
