Convention de stage
If you have secured an internship outside the UK, your employer may require you and QMUL to complete a 'Convention de Stage' or ‘Internship Agreement’ document. Based on your circumstances, please see below the correct form you should use:
- Instructions for Document A - June 2023 [PDF 200KB]for current students who require an agreement for an employer.
- Instructions for Document B - June 2023 [PDF 153KB] if your employer will not accept QMUL's standard internship agreement, insisting that their own version is completed instead.
- Instructions for Document C (English version) - June 2023 [PDF 184KB] or Instructions for Document C (French version) - June 2023 [PDF 186KB] if your course has ended or will end during or before the internship. We can sign off the internship agreement (Convention de stage) if your course ended within the last 3 years.
This agreement doesn’t cover your insurance. You need to take out fully comprehensive insurance for the whole period spent abroad on your placement, covering medical and associated expenses, personal accident, and possessions.
For CCLS and ULIP students:
You will need to use either this: Convention de Stage - English Version [DOC 32KB] or this: Convention de Stage - French Version [DOC 33KB] . Please also carefully read this: Essential information about Convention de Stage [PDF 614KB]
Please send the completed form and any other queries to pglaw-internship@qmul.ac.uk
