The Centre for Commercial Law Studies will be hosting a Book Launch for Intellectual Property and Cannabis on Tuesday 2nd September 2025 between 4pm-6pm.

The event will start with a talk by the co-author of the book, Dr Natalie Corthésy, and will be followed by a drinks reception. All our alumni, students and other legal professionals interested in Intellectual Property Law and this topic in particular are welcome to attend.

This pioneering book, co-authored by CCLS Alumna, Dr Natalie Corthésy (Commercial Law PhD, 2019), explores the relationship between intellectual property (IP) and cannabis. Expert scholars from across the globe reflect on the legal, cultural, and socio-economic significance of cannabis, addressing the difficulties of adapting legal frameworks to this unique and multifaceted product.
