The Entertainment Law Review 4.1
The Latest Edition of the Interactive Entertainment Law Review is now available.
Dr Michaela MacDonald (Law PhD, 2016) and Lecturer at Queen Mary summarised the latest issue as follows: Whether you have managed to do nothing or everything this summer, there should definitely be one ultimate item on your agenda – to read the latest issue 4.1 of IELR. We have dedicated it entirely to monetisation mechanisms (such as loot boxes) to capture a snapshot of the ongoing debate, including different approaches, perspectives, and voices. From our editorial – “The ultimate unboxing”: in search of the right questions to ask about loot boxes – to the free article by Peter Honer – Limiting the loot box: overview and difficulties of a common EU response – this issue will be difficult to put down. Enjoy reading it!
