Queen Mary Launches Autumn Executive Education Programmes to tackle Global Legal and Policy Challenges
Queen Mary’s Centre for Commercial Law Studies (CCLS) is excited to announce the launch of three Executive Education programmes for Autumn 2025, designed to meet the needs of legal, policy, and business professionals worldwide. These specialised programmes address today’s most urgent challenges in law, arbitration, sustainable governance, and international taxation.

International Investment and Arbitration
29 September – 1 December 2025
This returning, 10-week online programme offers a comprehensive study of the law and practice of international investment arbitration. The course is primarily (but not exclusively) aimed at governmental officials, who want to build their expertise in dealing with arbitrations involving foreign investors. The course offers an integrated programme of state-of-the-art research and practice-based knowledge, legal awareness, and practically applicable skills.

Public Procurement, Trade and Sustainable Development
1 October – 3 December 2025
This new 10-week online programme offers weekly 3.5-hour sessions incorporating interactive lectures, practical and negotiating exercises, and tutorials to help participants develop and build upon existing expertise in this area. Participants will complete the course feeling confident in the legal and policy aspects that are of critical importance to a public procurement, trade and development practitioner.
Pillar Two – Fundamentals and Practice
9 October – 20 November 2025
In collaboration with global tax advisory firm, Taxand, this new 7-week online course was created in response to the global tax reform under the OECD’s Pillar Two framework. This course offers practical guidance on the 15% global minimum tax and its implications for multinationals. Whether you’re a practitioner, inhouse tax or finance director, tax official, accountant, lawyers, advisor, academic or university graduate in International Tax Law, this programme is designed to help you navigate the complexity of the OECD Pillar Two rules.
