Profile

Eduardo Mercadante is a Post-Doctoral Research Assistant at the Centre for Commercial Law Studies, Queen Mary University of London, United Kingdom. Born in Brazil, he holds a BSc in Economic Sciences and an MA in Public Policies, Strategies and Development from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ), and an MRes in International Development and a PhD in International Development from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). The author has published papers and book chapters on patent policy, the TRIPS Agreement and pharmaceutical innovation, always focusing on public health and development.
