In February 2025, Miriam Goldby, Professor of Shipping, Insurance and Commercial Law at Queen Mary University of London, participated in Waseda University’s 2025 Transnational Law Programme in Tokyo, Japan, organised by Professor Kyoko Ishida and Professor Atsushi Koide, where she gave a lecture on Bridging the Divide between FinTech and Trade Tech: Governing the Use of Electronic Documentary Intangibles.
