Become a Postgraduate Law Mentor
Postgraduate (PG) Law Mentoring is a programme that connects postgraduate law students with a legal practitioner who can support their professional development.
With guidance from their mentor, we hope our students can gain insight to further develop their employability skills and increase their confidence when joining the labour market as a graduate.
As a PG Law Mentor, you will have the opportunity to:
- Involve yourselves with the work of Queen Mary Postgraduate Law School.
- Offer students insights into new or different career advancement approaches.
- Reflect on your career progression.
- Gain recognition for your skills, knowledge, and contribution as a mentor, developing your professional profile.
- Raise the profile of your organisation among legal professionals, staff members and students.
- Support postgraduate law international students in understanding the UK legal profession, and qualifications.
- Expand your global professional network with other legal practitioners.
