CHILL Team participates in Royal Institution's Family Fun Day
In summer 2023, the CHILL team ran an informational booth teaching families about our study and ULEZ.
This poster gives an overview of the CHILL study and the significance of London's Ultra Low Emission Zone.
We described how we measured participants lungs through a test called spirometry. We hosted memory games and offered a practice run at spirometry to all the parents and children. The pens and badges were a hit!
Many guests were curious to hear our findings given the topical nature of the ULEZ expansion just a month away. It was amazing to meet everyone, answer questions, and spark curiosity in air pollution and kids' health.
