What is Clearing?

Clearing is part of the UCAS application process, giving you the chance the find and secure a place on a wide variety of available university courses.

You can use Clearing if one of the following apply:

• If you have received higher grades than expected
• You’ve changed your mind about what/where you wish to study
• You've made a last minute decision about wanting to go to university
• You didn’t meet the conditions of your firm offer and are exploring other options
