Profile
My works includes a study on the reproduction of gendered and classed power relations through parental practices in Iceland, such as private school choice and neighbourhood choice. I teach gender studies, queer studies, and sociological theory at the educational and teachers’ education programmes at the University of Iceland. Research interests include justice through education, childhood, motherhood, gender, class, queer studies and qualitative methods.
