Busra Kumru specialises in integrating children's human rights in the early years through creating agentic spaces within rights-based pedagogies. Her main interests are childhood studies, children's rights, sociology and ethnography of childhood, contemporary and innovative research with children and practitioners, international perspectives on the theory and practice of early childhood education, and ethics in social research.
