Profile

I am an Associate Professor in Children's Literature at the department of Education, University of York (UK) as well as a children's author, translator and reading advocate. My research interests cluster around children's literature and literary education, with occasional forays into other areas of childhood studies. I am also the author in French of a manifesto on children's right to vote and of several books on children's literature and reading for a general audience.
