Profile

Mélanie Brunet is a PhD student at the University of Ottawa under the supervision of Simon Lapierre. A social worker by training, she worked for 10 years with children. Her doctoral thesis will focus on children who are victims of domestic violence and diagnostic with ADHD. Mélanie has been a member of the Feminist anti-violence research collectif (FemAnVi) since 2019 and coordonates the research project on Domestic violence during a pandemic period as well as the evaluation of the Compte sur moi program.
