Dr Linda Cusworth is a Research Fellow in the Centre for Child and Family Justice Research and Law School at Lancaster University. An experienced quantitative social researcher, with almost twenty years’ experience in research relating to child wellbeing, child protection and the family justice system, Linda has a passion for the use of administrative data and data linkage in family justice research, and the translation of evidence into policy and practice.
Current research interests relate to the characteristics, pathways and experiences of families involved in private family law proceedings, and the pathways and outcomes of a cohort of 1,836 children who became looked after in Scotland in 2012/13 when aged five or under.
