Luke (Te Aupōuri) is a Lecturer in Law at Te Herenga Waka, Victoria University of Wellington (in Aotearoa New Zealand). His research interests lie primarily in child protection, family law, children’s rights and Te Tiriti o Waitangi. His doctoral research focused on the rights of Māori (Indigenous) children within statutory child protection system. He recently became a dad for the first time and is very tired.
