Profile

Kristine is a Senior Lecturer in Social Work at the University of Sussex who teaches across the childhood and youth studies and qualifying social work programmes. Her current research is focussed on: 1) Young people's experiences of exploitation and related child protection responses; 2) professional responses to extrafamilial risk and harm, with a particular focus on creative, participatory and rights-based interventions; and 3) trauma-informed practices for work with survivors of abuse and sexual violence.
