Nicole Ineese-Nash, an esteemed Indigenous researcher and educator, specializes in issues pertaining to Indigenous children, youth, and communities, infusing a deep cultural understanding into the realm of Childhood Studies. A member of Constance Lake First Nation in Treaty 9 territory, she currently serves as an Assistant Professor at Toronto Metropolitan University, where she leads pioneering research intersecting law, policy, childhood, and Indigeneity. Through her national charity, "Finding Our Power Together," she extends her work beyond academia, providing vital mental health support and promoting cultural resilience among Indigenous youth across Canada. With her extensive involvement in community-based research and policy formation, Ineese-Nash brings valuable insights into the legal and policy issues concerning Indigenous childhood.
