Dr Eve Mayes is a Senior Research Fellow and Senior Lecturer in the School of Education (Research for Educational Impact) at Deakin University, Australia. She is the author of The Politics of Voice in Education (2023, Edinburgh University Press) and co-editor of the book Planetary Justice: Stories and Studies of Action, Resistance, and Solidarity (with Michele Lobo & Laura Bedford, Bristol University Press). She is currently working alongside a team of young climate justice advocates on the Australian Research Council-funded Striking Voices project.
