Profile

Kei Nishiyama holds a PhD in Political Science from the University of Canberra. As a political theorist, Kei studies the relationship between children and democracy with a specific focus on children's epistemic contribution and their deliberative agency. As a political ethnographer, Kei has undertaken ethnographic research with Japanese youth climate activists (since 2021).
