Eirini Pardali has a Ph.D in Pedagogical resources and learning processes in kindergarten and school from the University of South-Eastern, Norway. Her doctoral project explored children’s voices and involvement in school-based physical activity in Norway and Estonia.She has a BA (AUTH, Greece) in psychology and an MPhil (NTNU, Norway) in childhood studies. Her research interests include health promotion and children’s rights with a special focus on whole-school physical activity programs, physically active learning, marginalized children, youth and families and young citizenship. She applies a variety of qualitative and quantitative methodologies to investigate how cultural, political, and social forces continue to influence children and young people, with regards to their physical activity, health and life experiences.
