Iván Rodríguez-Pascual is a sociologist with a PhD from the University of Granada (Spain). He is a member of the Centre for Research in Contemporary Thought and Innovation for Social Development (COIDESO) at the University of Huelva. He has produced more than two dozen publications focused on the sociological study of childhood, among other lines of research. Author of the monograph Para una Sociología de la Infancia (Towards a Sociology of Childhood) (Madrid, CIS, 2007). Secretary of the first Research Committee on the Sociology of Childhood formed in Spain (in the Spanish Federation of Sociology).
