Profile

Currently, my research interests are centred around three main areas.
First, I explore the body through the theoretical framework of the impairment–disability paradigm, with particular attention to how children perceive and make sense of non-normative bodies across diverse settings in both the Global South and the Global North.

Second, I investigate children’s participation and activism in the pursuit of social and environmental justice.

Third, I focus on violence against women, with a specific emphasis on the role of local networks in the prevention and response to gender-based violence.
