Rebecca Thorburn Stern is Professor of Public International Law, Uppsala University, Sweden, and Visiting Professor in Human Rights 2024-2027, Lund University, Sweden. She specialises in migration law and human rights law, particularly in relation to children's right to participation and how the rights of the child are implemented in the migration context. Recent projects include research on age-related discrimination of children and the role of time in migration governance.
