Mark’s research is on how children charged with offences in Victoria, Australia experience legal processes and environments. His doctoral project involved partnering with 10 legal/youth organisations to explore the experiences of defence lawyers and young people using a combination of interview-based and ethnographic methods. He holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Criminology from the University of Melbourne, and has previously worked in Victoria's youth sector and civil service.
