Meet the Team

 

Dr Alexander Cresswell-Boyes Dr Cresswell-Boyes is a lecturer in Oral Sciences at the University of Plymouth. In his early research career he worked on the TactiTooth project for his PhD which was awarded in 2020.	Professor Graham Davis Prof Davis is the current lead for Imaging Sciences at the Dental school at Queen Mary University of London. He became part of the TactiTooth project after being an academic supervisor to Alex.

 

Professor Aylin Baysan Prof Baysan is an expert in the field of endodontic treatments and research. Prof  Baysan first became attached to the TactiTooth project whilst applying for funding via the Westfield Fund.	Dr Swati Nehete Dr Nehete is a Clinical Senior Lecturer in Restorative Dentistry at Queen Mary. Having experience as assessment lead within the Dental Institute, Dr Nehete joined the project to assess TactiTooth's suitability in examinations.

 

Professor Asa Barber Prof Baber is the Dean of Engineering at London South Bank University. He initially obtained the funding from EPSRC-GSK for the TactiTooth project and helped supevised the project along with Prof. Davis.	Dr David Mills Dr Mills is a Lecturer in Imaging and Calcified Tissue at Queen Mary. With over 15 years of micro-CT experience, Dr Mills has been an invaluable part of the project in obtaining the digital models of the extracted teeth.
