Title: Teaching Pedagogy and Active Learning (TPAL) Scholarship Working Group (SWG) in EECS
Abstract: Teaching Pedagogy and Active Learning (TPAL)scholarship working group was established in January 2023 with aim to identify and analyse relevant factors and variables that fall under the term “teaching and learning”, with a key priority of enhancing the students’ learning experience. In this session, the leaders of this group Nickos Paltalidis (TNE JP/JEI) and Usman Naeem (EECS) will give an overview of the group's objectives, and the projects leaders of this group will present an induction of their projects in topics like student engagement, active learning, gamification in learning, GenAI in teaching, digitalisation and teamwork online, personal development programmes for teaching assistants and students.
