NSS results reflect student satisfaction and teaching excellence in EECS
In the 2025 National Student Survey (NSS), all survey themes at the School of Electronic Engineering and Computer Science saw an increase in positive student responses compared to 2024, highlighting our continued commitment to excellent teaching and student support.
Standout results in Electrical and Electronic Engineering
Our Electrical and Electronic Engineering programme is 6th in the UK for Teaching and Education Framework Key Performance Indicators (overall positivity) and is also ranked 1st in 5 out of 8 key indicators within the Russell Group, including:
- Teaching on my course
- Assessment and feedback
- Organisation and management
- Student voice
- Teaching and Education Framework Key Performance Indicators
Progress in Computer Science
Our Computer Science programme also saw significant gains:
- We've climbed 13 places for "Teaching on my course" in just two years.
- Our ranking for "Learning opportunities" improved from 58th to 36th.
