Join us for an afternoon of though-provoking discussions and networking at DERI’s Inaugural Research Day on Wednesday 21st May from 12-5pm.
Queen Mary's Digital Environment Research Institute DERI, brings together world-leading researchers to drive new multi-disciplinary data science research and create innovative applications using digital technologies. During our Inaugural Research Day we will explore “Hard Problems”: Can Interdisciplinarity Solve Them?
Keynote Address
Setting the stage for the afternoon will be our keynote speaker Prof Simone Stumpf who is Professor of Responsible and Interactive Artificial Intelligence, University of Glasgow. Prof Stumpf will deliver a seminar entitled The ‘wicked problem’ of Explainable AI.
