Perserverance and resilience

Jasmine’s undiagnosed neurodivergence caused unnecessary overcompensation, social isolation, sensory overload and internalised negativity. This led to a lifetime of constant overwhelm, anxiety, stress, and chronic exhaustion. Despite feeling misunderstood and unsupported, her perseverance and resilience resulted in significant accomplishments, showcasing her strength in overcoming adversity and thriving despite the challenges.

Pioneering significant impact
Jasmine thrived in her dental career and earned a Master’s at Cambridge with an NHS Fellowship. Shifting focus to public health, she spearheaded the 'Healthy Teeth Happy Smiles!' innovative programme in Leicester, securing over £500,000 and drastically improving dental health outcomes, reducing child decay rates from the highest in England.

Discovering neurodivergence

For years, Jasmine felt like an outsider, mistakenly believing her struggles were a character flaw. At 50, an ADHD diagnosis revealed the true source of her lifelong challenges. Now, she channels her experiences into impactful articles, webinars, and workshops, supporting clinicians to embrace neurodiversity for the benefit of neurodivergent patients and colleagues.

Co-founder of ThinkDivergent
After 28 years dedicated to the NHS, Jasmine co-founded ThinkDivergent to transform the lives of neurodivergent individuals and address systemic inequalities. ThinkDivergent is pioneering innovative digital solutions to revolutionise neurodevelopmental assessments. Jasmine’s ongoing work amplifies the impact of her NHS career, extending her influence into groundbreaking new areas.
