Environment & Health sub-themes
The Environment & Health MDT has four key sub-themes by which research activities are grouped:
- Natural Environment (e.g., Land, water, air)
- Microbial Environment (e.g., Infectious diseases, commensal pathogens)
- Built Environment (e.g., Housing, urban landscapes, recreation)
- Psychosocial Environment (e.g., stress, poverty, mental health)
Research Workstreams
Our three key research workstreams are:
- Breathed Environment (BE) led by Dr. Abigail Whitehouse.
- Impact of Climate Change on Health (ICCH) led by Dr. Andrew Russell.
- Microbiome led by Dr. Kieran Bates and Dr. Ruairi Robertson.
