What is a Policy Associate?

Three years ago, the Queen Mary Global Policy Institute opened up its doors to its first cohort of Policy Associates. The Policy Associate role is a paid internship with a commitment of 10 hours per week, that last over eight weeks.

We particularly encourage Queen Mary students with an interest in international issues and policy development to apply for the Policy Associate positions. This role can be a great way for people to gain experience to gain experience in policy, research, communications and many other fields of work.

Policy Associates have made a remarkable impact over the last three years. They have worked to enhance the university’s reputation through their personal energy, initiative and commitment to the Global Policy Institute’s research, communications, events and policy agendas.
