Applications are particularly welcome from Queen Mary students with an interest in international issues and policy development. These are paid internships with a commitment of 10 hours a week, which will start on 30 May 2023 and last eight weeks. The application deadline is 15 May: more information and how to apply.
QMGPI Policy Associates have made a remarkable impact over the last three years, enhancing the University’s reputation through their personal energy, initiative and commitment to the Institute’s research, communications, events and policy agendas.
Highlights experienced by our Associate alumni include:
Co-authorship of responses to consultations: including The Runnymede Trust report on the implementation of the UN Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination and the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy consultation on UK international support for the transition to clean energy.
Our 2021 Associates discussed their time with the Institute via a series of videos, talking about their experience and the benefits of the attachment with the QMGPI.
Our 2022 Associates have also produced 'A day in the life of a QMGPI Policy Associate' videos, which appear below.
