In the School of History, on the History of Political Thought and Intellectual History MA, we have been donated an award valued at £1,750 to be awarded to the student who will write the most accomplished essay on the programme.

A panel of our academics who teach on the course will determine the best essay and award the prize. Students with Home and International fee status are eligible, and the School of History will award the first prize in July 2025.

This prize is subject to the recipient’s satisfactory academic progression and behaviour, in accordance with Queen Mary Academic Regulations.
