Project: Learning Resource Development

Client name: NHS Barts Health Archive

The archives and objects cared for by Barts Health are amongst the largest and most important hospital and healthcare collections in the UK, spanning over 2.5km of shelving and nine centuries of history.

In this project, as a team from across different Schools, you will work together to develop learning resources answering a research question set by the archives team. You will engage in primary source research, understand how to navigate the collections, and learn how to share research to a non-specialist audience. You will be supported by a team of archivists to successfully navigate the collections. The final output will be in the form of a research guide which will be published on their catalogue, and/or a display in their reading room.
