COSHH

The Control of substances hazardous to health regulations govern the use of anything that might cause harm as a result of exposure.

Queen Mary has a legal duty to ensure that the use of such substances is carried out in such a way to minimise the chances of harm occurring. The principle way in which we achieve this is implementing safe systems of work and to ensure anybody who could foreseeably be exposed is given sufficient training to be able to control this risk.
