First Aid for Lab Workers - HS042

This online is available on the CPD Training System and is aimed at staff and students who work in a Queen Mary laboratory. There is no requirement for you to have had any first aid training prior to completing the module.  

This course will teach you how to deal with some of the first aid incidents that can occur in a laboratory.  Should you sustain an injury you will need to know how to deal with it yourself in the first instance. There is also an expectation that you will offer assistance to a colleague when requested to do so, this may be simply talking them through the necessary first aid treatment that they can then carry out themselves.
