Main Pay scale

The University's Main Pay scale has seven pay grades from Grade 1 through to Grade 7. Like most UK universities, our main pay scale is based on the nationally negotiated single pay spine.

Clinical staff

Clinical staff have terms and conditions that are set nationally by the Universities and Colleges Employers Association (UCEA), with reference to NHS terms and conditions. Separate pay scales apply for these staff.
